Being over 50 years old has great benefits for those who want to start their own business. If you have an idea, passion, skill or hobby that you’re wondering “how do I turn this into a small business?” this 4-week, 4 session class is for you. We’ll discuss why this is a great time in your life to become an “encore” entrepreneur; how to evaluate your idea to determine if it could become a profitable business; share principles to help you develop an entrepreneur mindset, and communicate tips and proven methods for taking those first steps towards entrepreneurship. Guest speakers will be join us to share their journey to entrepreneurship. This class is the result of a collaboration with Asheville SCORE, NC.

If you're an entrepreneur with an idea, a passion, a skill, or a hobby you’d like to turn into a business, Sherree wants to help make your dream come true. She is a marketing and business expert and brand consultant with over 25 years of experience, starting with large consumer package goods companies and spending the last 15 years working with start-ups. Her expertise includes creating, launching, and building brands; developing business, commercial, and marketing plans; identifying key insights from research and incorporating the learnings into actionable plans and initiatives; and establishing customer-centric product and service development processes.
